The developer, project and construction manager for the planned oceanfront resort is Portfolio International Holdings Limited. The company currently oversees all aspects of the project’s development works for the owners, Smenter Limited.

According to Portfolio, once the project is completed it will be the largest master planned resort in the Greek Islands.

Leading hotel management companies have already expressed an interest to manage, brand and operate individual hotels, villas and residences of the ILIAD resort.

What an appalling and vulgar plan this is. The beauty of Ithaca is it’s unspoiled nature, but this is like a cynical dump of vomit spewed out by greedy people purely to make money. This will SPOIL the island… shame on you!

The Island will be ruined if this goes ahead. Ithaca is a traditional tiny island not designed for mass tourism or large resorts and hundreds of yachts. This development will definitely put off people from visiting.
